As the end of summer draws near, I hope you are able to find that last minute fun thing to do before we officially start the 2009-2010 DECA Year.

Prior to the SAM Conference, the SBE Advisory Council met in Louisville to discuss DECA’s school-based enterprise program and its activities.  One thing that came from that meeting is the fact that most teachers still do not know about DECA’s SBE web site (www.schoolbasedenterprises.org. ;

We need your help once again.  If it is possible, would you please add a link from your state association web page that will connect your teachers directly to the SBE web site.  I am attaching the SBE logo in case you would like to use it on your state web site.  One of my goals this year is to make very marketing educator, especially those with school stores, aware of the SBE web site and to encourage them to use it as a resource for their school store.

Anything you can do to help us make your teachers aware of this web site would be appreciated.  I would also appreciate Any other suggestions for getting this message out to the teachers.
